When in Rome
Planet: Hydrology favorable, no intelligent life, climate is mild.
Colony: Density is low, prosperity is high, order is well-established
Rome has many satellites but there’s one nobody talks about, nobody respectable anyhow. Kalamazoo is part artist conclave, part clandestine playground, and run entirely by criminal middlemen of all varieties. Since the moon’s economy is based on entertainment, vice, and tourism it always has both enough money to keep itself running and enough money to conveniently lose track of in all sectors of commerce (but particularly shipping and waste disposal). One misconception should be addressed; the planet’s atmosphere is actually just dandy, but only in the places that humanoids don’t inhabit. The flora surrounding the domed pods are both both highly carnivorous and highly profitable. Much of the very little legislation on the books has to do with keeping the plants healthy; their glands secreting regularly, and their highly efficient digestive processes undisturbed.
